Director of Photography

Elias Hess is a Director of Photography born and living in Stuttgart. In 2024 he began his training as a photo and media assistant in Stuttgart. He loves to explore the humans around him and the world with his camera always looking for a new shot. In 2025 he founded the production collective frameus He is focused on Commercial, Documentary and narrative Work aswell as Social-Media and weddings. In 2025 he produced a Documentary for the „Landesamt für Denkmalpflege Baden-Württemberg“. The Documentary „Wahre Werte“ show the work of several volunteers working across south Germany to preserve regional values and history. Also in 2025 he produced the promo for the song „Deine Stadt“ from the german Indie Artist Bella Bazz (over 100k listeners) Elias Hess studied Foto- und Medienassistent @Kolping. He’s based in Stuttgart, Germany, but works whereever there is Mate.
